Our Calling

Rooted in Christ, growing together.

Vision

A Christ-centered family where everyone belongs.

At Vernon Family Church, we are becoming a Christ-centered family where everyone belongs. From the moment you walk through our doors, you are welcomed into a community that worships God passionately, loves one another deeply, and serves our neighbours generously. We desire to be a shining light in Vernon, sharing the hope of Jesus through prayer, hospitality, meaningful relationships, and practical acts of love.

Mission

To grow as the family of Christ.

To grow as the family of Christ through prayer, worship, and discipleship, while reaching our community with the love of Jesus. We are committed to loving God, loving our neighbours, and creating spaces where people can connect, belong, and encounter Christ — whether around a table, at a community event, or gathered together in worship.

Pastor Cliff and Connie Siebert

Our Pastors

Pastor Cliff & Connie Siebert

Lead Pastor

For more than a decade, Cliff and Connie have pastored in Vernon with warmth, humor, and a steady devotion to Scripture. Their door and their kitchen table are always open.

Together they lead a community that takes faith seriously without taking itself too seriously: where questions are welcome, kids are celebrated, and every guest is a neighbor.

Cliff and Connie have been in full-time ministry for over 30 years and at Vernon Family Church for over 3 years. They have a passion to see churches revitalized to become authentic followers of Jesus Christ. Both Cliff and Connie humbly and joyfully call the church to follow them as they follow Christ.

"You don't have to have it all together to walk through our doors. You just have to walk through them."

Life at Vernon

Moments from our community.

Worship on Sunday is just the beginning. The rest of the week is where it really takes root — over coffee, in living rooms, around the lake.

From Our Community

Stories from the family.

From the moment we walked in, we felt like family. The worship is genuine and the teaching always leaves us with something to chew on all week.

Pastor Cliff preaches the Word straight, with grace. Our marriage has grown stronger because of this church.

Our kids actually ask to come on Sunday. The children's ministry is thoughtful, fun, and rooted in Scripture.

Rebecca Nguyen

I came in skeptical and broken. A year later I can honestly say I met Jesus here, through people who simply wouldn't give up on me.

Marcus Reilly

New believer

The small group we joined turned strangers into some of our closest friends. This is a real community, not a Sunday performance.

Hannah Park

Small group leader

After moving to Vernon we visited a few churches. Vernon Family Church was the one that felt like home from week one.

Connie's heart for women in this city is contagious. The women's gatherings have been a turning point for me personally.

When my dad was in the hospital, people I barely knew showed up with meals and prayer. That's the gospel in action.

The youth program gave my teenager a place to belong and ask hard questions without judgement. I'm beyond grateful.

Priya Sharma

Worship here feels honest. No hype, just hearts lifted to Jesus. I leave every Sunday recalibrated.

I've been part of many churches over the years. The leadership at VFC is humble, accessible, and Christ-centered.

We started serving on the welcome team and discovered a whole new joy. Hospitality is taken seriously here.

Solid biblical teaching without being heavy-handed. You leave knowing more about God and more loved by Him.

As a single mom, I was nervous walking in alone. Within minutes someone sat with me. I haven't missed a Sunday since.
